Ruma fair represents our unique brand. The very beginning of holding the fair dates back to 1747. From the privilege given to the city by the empress Maria Theresa. In the beginning there 4 dates of the fair, after the WW2 this event was held every month. Every third of the month people come to sell or shopping, or just to feel fair atmosphere. Around 30000 people come to the fair. Fair offers a unique form of entertainment, receptive to the general public mass, literally everything is offered there, from needles to locomotives, people come to buy and sell horses, livestock, agricultural machinery, hunting and fishing equipment, quality leather saddles, fruit seedlings, vegetable seeds, garden sets, wine and brandy barrels, flowers... The Ruma fair is one of the most visited fairs in Europe.

The traditional event "Ruma cultural summer" takes place throughout the summer at several locations. The program of the event includes different type of events: concerts, theater performances, art exhibitions and literary events. The sponsor of the event is the municipality of Ruma and Cultural center "Brana Crncevic", local museum of Ruma, City Library "Atanasije Stojkovic" and the Tourist organization of the municipality of Ruma.

Kraljevci harvest include the harvesting of grain, baking bread in a furnace, driving a carriage across the field, presentation of a large number of female associations, as well as a performance folklore ensembles.

Organized by the Tourist Organization of the Municipality of Ruma. An event is held in town square in Ruma. It is a festival of fine tastes and above all, hospitable and cheerful people. It is already entering the recognizable and traditional events that are looked forward to and that are held regularly. The rich program of "Cultural Summer", the event "RUMFEST" adds a colorful note and transforms into a place of diverse music, taste, color and energy. The event lasts 2 days and you can find there various products, starting with wine, honey, cakes, dried meat products, handicrafts. The atmosphere takes a festival character, visitors can enjoy the concerts of domestic performers, cinema screenings in the open space, program for kids and animations.

Christmas street is an event that connects Catholic and Ortodox Christmas. For that occasion, a street of wooden houses and stalls is formed in the City Square, numerous exhibitors present themselves with diverse offers - culinary specialties, wine, brandy, honey, cakes, various candies, handicrafts, art objects, decorations and every other products that contribute to holiday atmosphere. This event is interesting to the youngest citizens, because it is a program filled with various performances and animations intended for children.

Tambura orchestras festival of Serbia has its name since 1989, it was previously the evening of the tambourine orchestras of the Music Festival societies of Vojvodina. The festival is held in October, it last 2 evenings in the great hall of Cultural center with a total of 10 to 12 large tambura orchestras

The biggest event of amateur musical creativity in Vojvodina, founded in 1964. It is held in grand hall of the Cultural Center in Ruma. It's organized biennial: choirs one year and classical music orchestras, folklore ensembles next year.

The Days of Slavic Literacy and Culture is an event which nurtures and glorifies the immaterial and the material heritage of the Balkan Peninsula which Old Slavs settled in the 7th century. The event gathers numerous creators from countries that share a heritage and history. It is visited by guests from Russia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Croatia... Visitors can enjoy famous speeches, theater pieces and great works of Slavic literature.

On the occasion of the village celebration of St. Johns Day in Klenka, in the municipality of Ruma, an event called "Peach - Srem cake". The organizer of the event is the female association "Ljiljan" from Klenk, this old - fashioned cake is their trademark.

The festival was founded in 1998. This event affirms the work of art student academies in the region showing their achievements, graduate and professional productions, as well as chamber performances created in cooperation with theaters, independent theater associations and institutions of culture.

Adrenaline race is a race in which, in addition to running, the competitor must also overcome various physical obstacles, climbing a wall, carrying heavy objects, running through water, crawling under barbed wire. There are many obstacles similar to those used in training of special forces unit. The aim of this competition is to allow participants to test their fitness, strength, speed and persistence.

Marathon in the heart of Srem. It is held as part of the event including several races of different lengths: half - marathon, DDOR pleasure race, a 3x7 kilometer relay, as well as a Baby Marathon of 4,5 meters.
